UCplus Language Center Silkeborg
UCplus Language Center Silkeborg is located at Kejlstrupvej 99D in 8600 Silkeborg. We have a reception and offer Danish classes in modern, bright rooms on the ground floor and first floor of the building.
At Language Center Silkeborg we offer Danish lessons at all levels within all levels of the official Danish Language Education.
Our teachers have extensive experience helping all our students get through their coursework and fullfil their ambitions. Our own ambition is to get every student well underway in Denmark through high-quality Danish lessons.

All our teachers either have completed or are currently undergoing the education to become teachers in Danish as a second language. This ensures high-quality teaching for you, regardless of which Danish course you participate in.
In the municipality of Silkeborg, the UCplus Language Center Silkeborg has been chosen as an official provider of Danish Language Education, but this does not mean that you have to live in Silkeborg to participate in one of our courses. We have students from all over Jutland. Some live nearby, others work close by, making it a better fit with their work life to attend classes in Silkeborg.
The classes are planned differently from level to level. A common feature is that we have an extensive focus on pronunciation and the Danish that you need in your everyday life. Both professionally and socially.
We combine classes and online lessons with field trips and events, so you can get to use Danish outside the classroom.
We also offer 100% online lessons on selected courses.
We hold the state-controlled examinations:
- Prøve i Dansk 1 (PD1)
- Prøve i Dansk 2 (PD2)
- Prøve i Dansk 3 (PD3)
- Indfødsretsprøven
- Medborgerskabsprøven

We also offer the official Danish Language Education as 100% online Danish lessons. You always have the option to switch between online classes and classroom lessons at school, if your needs change. You can read more about that right here.

Library visits help students learn Danish
A visit to the library in Silkeborg provided students at UCplus Language Center with valuable insights into Danish culture. The excursion also sparked their interest in reading and encouraged them to use Danish in new contexts.
Danish Lessons at Salling Group strengthens communication and integration
Salling Group’s international employees often work in groups, which gives them lots of opportunities to practice Danish while getting to know new colleagues.
Two former UCplus students now teach Danish themselves
Barbara and Tanja both came to Denmark without knowing a word of Danish, but they worked hard to learn the language at UCplus in Ringkøbing. They became so proficient that they took the next step and now teach at the Language Centre themselves.
