Special test conditions

If you are dyslexic or have a physical or mental disability, you can apply for a waiver to take the test with special conditions. After registering for the test, you must contact the school where you are taking the test no later than eight weeks before the written test is held. The school must have documentation of your disability. Find your local language center and related information here.

The exams are held in accordance to the “Prøvebekendtgørelsen” and “Karakterbekendtgørelsen”. Read more at the Ministry’s website.

Disease – applicable only to Danish exams

In the event of illness during either the written or oral examination, you may, upon presentation of a medical certificate, take the missing part of the exam at the next examination session. You should contact the school where you were registered for the exam as soon as possible if you wish to avail yourself of this opportunity.

Complaints

You can complain about the test, the course or the assessment in both written and oral tests. The complaint must be in writing and justified. The appeal deadline is four weeks after you have been informed of your grade. You can read more in the complaint guidelines here.
