I have been diagnosed - what should I do?
It is important that you contact UCplus as soon as possible. In collaboration with UCplus, your close contacts at the education sites are identified. UCplus informs the identified close contacts.
Illness is reported to your teacher.
Close contacts are sent home until a negative test can be shown. Close contacts must be tested twice – in case of suspicion and again two days after a negative test.
I have symptoms or someone close to me has been diagnosed - what should I do?
If there are people in your home who have been diagnosed with COVID-19, you must stay at home until you can show a negative covid-19 test. You can then participate in teaching again. Another test should be performed two days after the first test, even if this is negative.
How does UCplus handle a diagnosed student?
UCplus follows the Danish Health authority’s recommendations for managing infection among students in youth and adult education.
This means that infected students are sent home and identify close contacts at the place of education. In collaboration with UCplus, close contacts are informed. Identified close contacts follow the program for close contacts with repatriation and two tests (cf. the Danish Health authority’s Infection Detection of Close Contacts).
Close contact is sent home until a negative test can be shown. Close contacts must be tested twice – in case of suspicion and again two days after a negative test.
Does UCplus hand out face masks / visors?
It is the students’ own responsibility to bring a face mask / visor. If a student cannot afford to buy a face mask / visor, he or she can contact Borgerservice, where you can be given a free face mask.
Where should face masks / visors be worn?
Face masks / visors must be worn on all common areas. There is no requirement for wearing a face mask / visor when receiving teaching.
Can I be excused from wearing face mask / visor?
If a student cannot wear a face mask due to health conditions, he or she can contact the local management and be given a visor. No dispensation can be granted for the requirement for protective equipment on common areas.
How do I arrive and take part in tests and exams?
You must arrive with a face mask / visor well in advance (10 minutes).
You have to disinfect your hands.
You must keep a good distance from fellow students and teachers.
The teacher has a visor on or sits behind a plexiglass screen.
When you have finished your exam, leave the school, and enjoy you have finished test / exam – out in the fresh air.
