Have you never tried winter swimming before but have heard about the rush you get from the icy water? Would you like to try winter swimming with others in safe surroundings?
Come along to winter swimming at Kalvebod Bølge and get a fresh start to your Sunday. You are welcome to bring a friend, partner or children, just write it in the registration.
We meet at the dipping zone at Kalvebod Bølge, talk about the framework for winter swimming and what you can do. Then we go into the water in groups – there is the option of dipping with a solid bottom or swimming. Afterwards, UCplus offers coffee and breakfast bread, so we can warm up, get some energy and get to know each other.
You should be warm when you arrive and remember extra warm clothes and socks for afterwards. It is a good idea to wear your swimsuit under your clothes when you arrive, so that you don’t have to change clothes before. After your winter swim, you should dry yourself quickly and put on warm, dry clothes. There are no private changing rooms, so we respect each other when changing.

Is this your first time trying winter swimming?
We will help you have a good experience. Remember to be warm before you come. Go into the water calmly and breathe slowly. Only stay in the water for a short time the first time and listen to your body. Dry yourself quickly and put on warm clothes again.
