Do you want to learn how to make open sandwiches and experiment with vegetarian cooking? Do you fancy a social afternoon of communal dining and games?
Come to a Danish Easter lunch with traditional open sandwiches and fun games! We’ll make vegetarian “smørrebrød” together in groups and taste each other’s creations. We experiment with flavours, textures and decorations – and experience how varied a rye bread meal can be. During the day, we also play some Easter-related games in our teams – and the best team will get a prize! We collect all the dishes we make for an Easter lunch and serve it on a long table, where we have communal dining with drinks (also non-alcoholic).

• Food: Vegetarian and vegan. Menu: Potatoes with mayo and quick-pickled red onions, chickpea salad (a la tuna salad), and pâté with lentils and mushrooms, egg noodles and breaded parsnips (“peace fish”).
Would you like to talk to older Danes in an informal environment? Do you like to get to know new people?
Join us when we visit the meeting place “Den brogede verden” for a chat and a sing-along. The meeting place is an activity center for senior citizens (over 60 years old), where you can come and do various activities together.
On this visit, we will sing songs from the Danish “Højskolesangbog”. First, we will meet at 12 noon and talk to the citizens who come to the meeting place. You can also buy open sandwiches. At 1:30 pm, the sing-along will start, where you can try to sing along or just listen. See you for a fun afternoon!
