The UCplus Centre for Danish Language Education is part of an award-winning company. In 2008, we received the Confederation of Danish Industry’s Education Award for our labour market-oriented Danish language courses.
The award was presented to UCplus in 2008 by the Minister of Education at the time, Bertel Haarder, for the centre’s “great innovativeness, initiative and ability to identify opportunities rather than obstacles in people and education.”
Subsidiary of the award-winning company Arriva
In 2012, Arriva A/S (the parent company of UCplus) received the Danish Institute for Human Rights’ Diversity in the Workplace Award.
The award is traditionally given to companies that promote diversity and equal opportunities in the workplace both through their policies and practices.
The award is supported by the EU campaign “For Diversity. Against Discrimination.”
In 2014, Arriva won two awards from the Danish Corporate Social Responsibility Foundation in acknowledgement of Arriva’s mentor project “Women behind the wheel.” You can read more about the awards here.
